CTA ridership had plateaued, and the agency needed to reignite public interest by reinforcing the value of its service to the city’s broad and diverse audience. To achieve this, Grant Jacoby was brought on to help craft a tone that aligned with CTA’s internal pledge: cleanliness, friendliness, timeliness, and safety.
The creative direction aimed to elevate the brand image, evolve the existing “Take It” theme, and boost awareness through both traditional and non-traditional media channels. As part of the creative team, I contributed in multiple roles—graphic designer, art director, print production specialist, and photographer. This was a collaborative effort that resulted in a campaign well-received by both CTA leadership and the riding public.
